Yesterday I had trip to Jogashima, Kamakura, and Enoshima at Kanagawa Prefecture with some Waseda’s friends. We had lunch at Kamakura. Since we wanted to get food as soon as possible, we ate at soba/udon restaurant across the Kamakura Great Buddha entrance. I ordered this, the price was 1,260 yen. It’s the most expensive udon I’ve ever eaten -_-” And the taste was not the best for me.
Julia Child began learning to cook because she loved her husband, and she loved food, and she didn’t know what else to do with herself. And, in the process, she found joy. I didn’t understand this for a long time, but I do now.
